McCain Ad: Hide Your Children!

McCain has now clearly crossed the line into absurdity.
This is the legislation in question:
"Each class or course in comprehensive sex education offered in any of grades K through 12 shall include instruction on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, including the prevention, transmission and spread of HIV."
Notice how it speaks about adding STI-prevention to each existing sex education course, and never mentions any addition of sex-ed programs for kindergartners. Add to that the fact that Obama has already explicitly addressed this question before, and confirmed that he is not interested in teaching kindergartners how to put on condoms or anything (he did say that he'd like teachers to let them know the difference between "appropriate" and "inappropriate" touching, but that's as far as he's ever gone). This is clearly a sexed-up lie from the McCain campaign. The Obama campaign needs to stop calling McCain "honorable" and start calling him a "liar" (which he is).
It's things like this that have always turned me off to politics. The federal government makes very important and very serious decisions. Yet John McCain continues to lie and act like a child instead of talking about his policy positions.

"It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls - a position that his friend Mitt Romney also holds. Last week, John McCain told Time magazine he couldn't define what honor was. Now we know why."
